Rudy Seller
Director, Principal Project Manager
Rudy has over 17 years’ experience of scoping and delivering major Construction, Engineering and Rail projects and a key focus on infrastructure projects. His experience has been gained within New Zealand and United Kingdom and therefore have a global understanding on what makes projects successful. He’s an excellent relationship builder and thrives on bringing people together to build teams with complementary skills and experience, as part of a ‘One Team’ approach, that realise business and social benefits with significant returns on investment. He is adept at managing key stakeholders, from Executive Board Members to individuals in a collaborative manner with an ability to elicit consensual outcomes and has led multi-million dollar strategic projects. He is versatile, positive, Highly professional and problem solving orientated Project Manager with a passion for Project management within the construction industry.
Gerhard (Jacques) Pietersen
Director, Principal Project Manager
Jacques specialises in leading complex and challenging construction projects to maximise financial and social value from each scheme. Since joining the business , he’s focussed on growing the team, managing its strategic direction and, fundamentally, providing service excellence to clients. He has a track record spanning over 20 years, managing major projects in the private and public sectors; specialising in complex and stakeholder-sensitive infrastructure and property portfolios. He is overseeing programmes of work for transport sector and private and housing projects for developers and local authorities, and holds PMP registration.
Werner Nel
Principal Project Manager
With 27 years of versatile experience in civil engineering consulting and project management, Werner excels in complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. His expertise includes road construction, water and sanitation planning, and stormwater reticulation. Known as a tenacious delivery agent, Werner is committed to exceeding customer expectations. He is skilled in managing interfaces between existing and new infrastructure, collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Richard Hawke
Project Manager – Wayfinding Delivery
Richard is a project manager specialising in stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation. Richard has most recently been working within Auckland Transport to deliver key wayfinding signage, and infrastructure projects across the network.
Richard has developed critical project management skills working on complex and dynamic projects for private and governmental bodies. He has a strong passion for relationship management and the infrastructure industry. He ensures a professional, lateral & solution led approach is delivered to his diverse portfolio of projects.
Tina Kittelty
Wayfinding & Mana Whenua Engagement
Tina is a project manager specialising in project communications and stakeholder engagement. Tina has most recently been working within Auckland Transport to deliver key wayfinding signage across the network and lead Mana Whenua engagement on several projects.
Tina has extensive experience working on large scale, big budget projects for government and local councils. She has a keen eye for detail and likes to work with a systematic, methodical approach to ensure nothing slips through the gaps.
Andries Kingsley
Senior Project Engineer
Andries understands the complexities of a wide range of construction management and technical systems and brings innovative solutions to meet the challenges facing today’s modern integrated projects. He has over 20 years’ experience across various industries in design, engineering, project engineering, project and engineeringmanagement, maintenance and equipment reliability; and multiple projects as Senior and Lead Mechanical Engineer in the power, petrochemical / gas, pharmaceutical and utility sectors under his belt. But at Scartan we consider Andries as our client’s trusted advisor to deliver the right strategies, resources and processes to enable successful project outcomes.
Andries is a registered Chartered Member with Engineers New Zealand (ENZ) and registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Suerica Pietersen
Project Manager & MSP Scheduler
Suerica is a dedicated Project Management professional, responsible for project tracking, lean-systems implementations, scheduling and scheduling training at Scartan. She has over 10 years’ experience in project and people management.
Suerica works to deliver the right resources and learning and development environments to support our clients and their projects and that each team achieves the right balance between staff needs and the needs of the business. Her passion is to support Scartan’s team by building and maintaining dynamic systems to keep teams engaged in delivering exceptional services for clients and are fervent ambassadors of their brand, enabling not only the project at hand, but also the client’s business to flourish and grow its reputation for excellence.
Junaid Ameer
Project Manager
As a Project Manager with 16 years of experience in the construction industry, Junaid is proficient at the entire project management lifecycle. Whether working on a small project with modest business goals or a large, multi-departmental initiative, he excels at collaborating with a multitude of stakeholders to achieve timeous project outcomes. Junaid has extensive knowledge of project planning and scoping, project organization, and progress monitoring, and a proven ability to successfully lead projects from initiation to close.
Madelein Hoffman
Project Manager
Madelein is a committed, technical-minded project manager with a keen interest in the visual and structural design aspects of in the construction industry. She enjoys bringing a project to life, creating plans, and following through with them.
Her construction engineering background allows Madelein to combine an understanding of geotechnical and foundation design, structural design and QS measurement, with excellent project management skills and best practice. She is able to focus on achieving short term milestones with an overall outlook towards achieving long term goals from a project perspective.
Clarice Slabbert
Graphic Design and Wayfinding
Clarice is a Systemic Graphic Designer with a focus on merging sustainability science, design thinking and entrepreneurship to contribute to the eco-social transformation through regenerative solutions. She loves solving complex problems and delivering outcomes that include digital design, stakeholder engagement materials, project identities, information design, integrated wayfinding solutions and marketing materials. She brings a strong sense of inventive and responsible thinking to our industry.
Over the past ten years she’s partnered with a variety of clients including governmental organisations, global corporations, NPO’s and start-ups – Always aiming to create design solutions that stand the test of time and are recognized for their quality. Her way of working puts her in the unique position of working side-by-side with product designers, environmental and wellbeing activists, architects, interior designers, brand strategists; and subsequently, the work they create together reflects this breadth and depth of cross-disciplinary thinking.
